Throughout the years, Firefly Education has provided tailored support to numerous children and their families, achieving a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
Natalie Verbo
Natalie, driven by her passion for teaching, discovered her calling in special education while working with children with learning disabilities. She received teacher training in the US and gained experience in supporting children's behaviour, social skills, play, and life skills. In London, Natalie worked in various settings, including SEN and mainstream schools, where she witnessed families' struggles. Determined to make a difference, she founded Firefly Education with her husband to address the lack of support available in the UK.
Natalie takes pride in her hands-on approach and personalised solutions. Drawing from her own experiences as a parent of a child with additional needs, she understands the challenges families face. Firefly Education has established a network of respected professionals, including doctors, therapists, tutors, and teachers, who collaborate to support children with additional needs and their families.
Matt Woods
Matt brings over a decade of recruitment experience in the tech and startup world, and can help with account and administrative questions, as well as building relationships with our SEN partners and wider education network.
