Private Education in the South of France: A big picture in microcosm on our Monaco visit
Fantastic Jacques Cousteau-themed learning area

What a pleasure it was to pay a visit to Monaco and the French Riviera last week to visit some friends, clients and schools in the region. We have great relationships with schools in London and are expanding in the Middle East, so to meet parents, pupils and teachers in Europe was a great learning experience. It was great to see some of the innovative approaches being taken in the schools.
The whole trip covered the full range of Firefly Education clients and situations: we discussed School Searches, One-to-one help for children in class, home-school referrals, SEN Nannies, home tutors, school recruitment and even SEN Nannies and Tutors to accompany children and families aboard yachts around the world.
Some of the things that were particularly interesting:
Use of technology to bring lessons to life, including VR headsets, video walls and interactive lesson plans
Rounded curriculum that brings together science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths.
Emphasis on inclusion and helping all children to be able to learn in the classroom with tailored support
Variety and diversity of school types and education environments. If you're considering schools in this area, get in touch with your needs
We also got to catch up with some friends and partners in and around the yacht show to discuss how we can help international and highly-mobile families who want to help their children with Special Educational Needs.
