Firefly's visit to London Park School, Mayfair
If you are seeking a secondary school for your child in the next few years, the school is worth a visit

We visited the beautiful London Park School in Mayfair recently.
Overlooking Green Park, this secondary school is located in a Grade 1 listed building that was once home to a private members’ club. The building is stunning with a grand staircase and historic details including intricate plastered ceilings.
Upon entering you are greeted with greenery, designed to enhance learning through oxygen added to the air from the plants. It has a wonderfully calming effect, and is replicated around the school leading to a great working and learning environment.
We met with Dr Adrian Rainbow, who told us about the school’s inclusive environment both for the day pupils and the hybrid pupils.
Their hybrid programme allows for pupils to have live lessons 4 days per week online in a small pod, who then come in one day a week to have sessions in the Mayfair location. Subjects such as games, drama, and science labs take place on the in-person days.
The day pupils take advantage of being in the heart of London by going on lots of day trips related to the subjects the are studying. They pop down to the Royal Acdamy for an art or history lesson, they utilise the parks for games, and visit all sorts of musuems and events. For them, London literally becomes their back yard!
The environment felt warm and welcoming with a range of pupils attending.
If you are seeking a secondary school for your child in the next few years, the school is worth a visit.
